I am a slug

I am a slug! I move slowly through the grass. Food is on my mind, and I smell it. I'll get there someday. As I inch along, I begin to daydream about my meal. Suddenly I realize that my two protruding eyes are touching something much bigger than me. Quick! I hide in my body!

After a minute I poke an eye out from beneath my flap of slimy skin and see that it is only a rock. I really should watch where I inch. So back onto my epic journey I go. The blades of grass slip slowly across either side of my body. One...two...three...four...six...two... I lose count after that. Looks to be a clearing up ahead.

Oooh, it looks to be the dwelling place of the giant two-legged animals. I'm now on the ground where they sometimes relax whenever they come from outside their dwelling place. They have placed a very large flat rock into the ground so that the area is not covered with grass... On the center of this rock I see...I see...food! It looks like something like the furry four-legged drooler usually eats. Wonder why he hasn't eaten it yet. He must be inside the dwelling place.

Well, I decide to sneak up on my prey. Almost there... Oh no! One of the two-leggeds has come out of the dwelling place! He appears to be looking right at me. Must reach the foo-wait! The four-legged drooler is eating it! No! Gotta keep truckin'. Hopefully he leaves behind some crumbs.

How curious, now there are tiny white rocks, much smaller than me even, falling from the sky. Yes, I am not mistaken, the two-legged is sprinkling them on the ground around me. I crawl onto one, and OUCH it's painful!

I hide under my flap of skin. The rocks are pouring onto my back now. Hiding doesn't help very much, but I have no choice. Every single one of these evil white rocks feels like it is sucking the very life out of my body. I can feel myself oozing with slime that I normally would not have. The pain is growing beyond anything I have ever imagined. All I can do is attempt to draw myself farther into my body. The rocks don't stop coming.

Must...go to...sleeeep...

Moral of this story: Adam needs to do his homework.
